Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Horde Mode Guide: Hold the Squad Together

A preparation guide for the updated Horde mode in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, focused on roles, space, resource timing and repeatable debriefs.

Updated: 2026-08-26 · By Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Field Guide

What is confirmed

The official page describes an updated Horde mode with additional challenges and fresh experiences with new rewards. It also confirms up to four-player co-op, so the useful starting point is a shared plan rather than four isolated damage builds.

A repeatable Horde setup

  1. Assign the first response. Decide who calls movement when the current space is no longer safe.
  2. Protect a fallback. Choose a retreat direction before the next pressure spike, and avoid spending every control tool at the same time.
  3. Use roles, not duplicate panic. A team with four players needs clear ownership of support, target focus and space-making.
  4. Debrief by wave. Note the point where the formation broke and change one loadout or role decision before the next run.

What we are not claiming

The public feature page does not publish a complete wave table, reward schedule or permanent best composition. Those details should be added only after current-build evidence is available.

Evidence note — 2026-08-26: Horde mode, new rewards and the co-op premise are official claims. The team routine is a practical framework, not a fabricated wave guide.
