Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Enemies and Threats: Read the Swarm

A threat-reading framework for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 that helps a squad decide when to focus, reposition or preserve a tool.

Updated: 2026-08-26 · By Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Field Guide

The official signal

The publisher says the sequel brings new and returning threats that are smarter, more aggressive and able to adapt to tactics. Read that as a reason to keep the team’s response flexible, not as permission to publish an unverified enemy table.

Three threat questions

Is the danger closing space?

If the answer is yes, call movement and preserve the tool that creates room. Do not let four players solve the same rush independently.

Is the danger consuming attention?

If a threat is pulling the whole squad away from the next objective, assign one player to watch it while the others keep the formation readable.

Is the plan still working?

When a familiar response stops working, switch the position or team role before simply adding more damage.

Evidence boundary

The official page confirms the threat direction, but it does not provide a complete enemy roster, health values, weak points or counter table. Those details remain pending current-build sources.

Evidence note — 2026-08-26: The threat description is official. The response rules above are tactical guidance intended to be tested in play.
